RiftNet Update – Real Talk, Real Impact

Not every post is hype. Some are just truth. Here’s where we’re at.

⚠️ The DistroKid Meltdown

This is where the cracks started. I tried to update my artist name from HexRift to RiftNet through DistroKid. That should’ve been simple. But DistroKid mangled the metadata so badly it corrupted my entire artist profile. My own track—RiftNet—got flagged as a copyright violation by the system that was supposed to protect it. So I jumped ship. Paid $25 to a new distributor? Rejected. No release. No refund. Went back to my original (free) platform? Account locked. Completely restricted. I’m now down $40, robbed of time and momentum, and left with a corrupted catalog because DistroKid’s system couldn’t handle a basic name change. Music I built from the ground up got treated like stolen content—because the infrastructure is broken.

🎤 Stepping Back From the Industry

I’ve given this everything. But I’m done pouring my energy into a system that’s stacked against independent artists. That doesn’t mean I’m going silent. I’ll still drop music here and there—on YouTube, SoundCloud, and maybe TikTok—but I’m not chasing platforms anymore. No more distributor drama. No more wasted energy. Just raw sound, where I want it, when I want it.

🛠 RiftNet AI V4.5.9 – Polished and Tightened

On the tech side, RiftNet AI just leveled up again. Version 4.5.9 is live now:

  • Bug fixes
  • Code cleanup
  • More stable, faster response
  • Better logs and handling under load If you're building, it's sharper. If you're deploying, it's leaner. No bloated updates—just efficient evolution.

🎵 Two New Tracks – Kill Code & WolfWire

Music isn't dead. It’s just unplugged from the system. Two new tracks dropped:

  • Kill Code – Pulse meets precision. A digital hunt through layered distortion.
  • WolfWire – Raw power. Feral energy meets static charge. No filters. No politics. Just straight fire for the ones still wired in.

🔄 Name Change Finalized – HexRift ➝ RiftNet

One last thing: The identity shift is complete. Everything is now under RiftNet. New name, same backbone. Stronger signal. Clearer direction.

🐺 For the Ones Still Running With Me

If you’ve backed me through this, thank you. I don’t forget loyalty. This shift is real—but it doesn’t mean I’m gone. Less industry. More independence. Stay sharp. Stay wild. Stay with the pack. – RiftNet
